Part2 の中で取り上げます。
原稿を作っている中（２０２１年）、４０年ぶりに新曲が発表されたABBAの楽曲の中でも個人的に好きな楽曲を取り上げました。歌詞も平易で覚えやすい上にややこしい単語や言い回しも少ないので、英語初心者の方々にもわかり易いと思います。長く故郷を離れていた主人公が故郷に戻った際の心の動きが歌詞に描かれているようです。筆者も家庭を持った後に関東を離れたので、ノスタルジーを覚えます。「THE ALBUM」に収録されています。今回の「I wonder」に限らずABBAの楽曲は、歌声と歌詞から柔らかな感覚を与え、英語を母語にしない文化圏の人々にも理解することが容易なものが多い印象です。
